Synthetic Turf International Installs Five Synthetic Tee Lines
Vasari Country Club—Bonita Springs, Florida

EZ Tee®® 56V Perfect Complement to Club’s 40-Acre Practice Range

February 29, 2008, Jupiter, FL—Synthetic Turf International (“STI”), a global synthetic turf supplier and installer of premium synthetic surfaces, recently installed five 300 square foot tee lines utilizing their state of the art EZ Tee®® 56V synthetic surface at Vasari Country Club located in Bonita Springs, Florida.

STI’s EZ Tee®® 56V tee line is an innovative, naturalistic synthetic turf designed specifically for driving range tee lines.  EZ Tee®® is drastically different than most artificial tee line surfaces that typically require players to hit balls from atop a white plastic tube.  With STI’s EZ Tee®® synthetic tee line surface, players can practice driving the ball from a regulation golf tee inserted directly into the EZ Tee®® surface.  Players can also practice their iron shots by hitting the ball directly off of the lifelike surface.  EZ Tee®® can be installed over any surface, with or without fill, and is appropriate for both tee lines and hitting mats.  EZ Tee®® is easily maintained and eliminates the constant relocating of tee lines attributed to the typical wear and tear that occurs on natural turf tee lines.  With STI’s EZ Tee®® there is never a need to reseed or top-dress driving range areas.

“We originally started out only installing two synthetic tee lines from STI,” Tim Harris, Vasari Country Club’s Director of Golf, explains.  “The club members and staff were so impressed with the quality that we immediately ordered three addition synthetic hitting areas.”

Vasari Country Club is named for Italian artist, writer and architect Giorgio Vasari, known for his classic architectural form and artistry during the Renaissance era.  Vasari Country Club is situated on 375 acres which included natural wildlife preserves and a panoramic 40-acre lake.  The club offers its members a challenging 18-hole championship golf course and a 40-acre practice range with a short game practice area.

Founded in 1995, with international headquarters in Jupiter, Florida, STI is recognized as the leading supplier/installer of residential or backyard synthetic putting greens. STI projects range from condominiums and townhouses to single family homes and large residential estates. The company supplies a host of golf-specific synthetic turf solutions to country clubs, golf clubs, teaching facilities and short game academies. STI is endorsed by 2008 Masters winner Trevor Immelman, and David Leadbetter, one of the industry’s most respected instructors.  STI provides and installs synthetic surfaces for recreation and sport venues both professional and amateur, including youth football, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, lawn bowling, bocce and other sports.
