The project was completed in conjunction with Alpharetta, Georgia-based construction managers Aarene Contracting, LLC.

Installed atop a concrete pad, STI utilized their exclusive NP50® nylon putting surface to complete the green. STI’s NP50® putting surface replicates today’s tour-quality natural bent grass putting greens, providing unparalleled consistency with a true roll from every position on the green. NP50®’s resilient cross-stitched nylon surface is virtually maintenance-free and ideally suited for indoor or outdoor use—year-round. Custom-framed in dark hardwood, the putting green matches the traditional Tavern décor of wood-paneled walls, leather seating and framed memorabilia from Snead’s golfing glory days.

The Jacksonville airport putting green is the second such project for STI. The company installed a nine-hole putting green at Sam Snead’s Tavern in the concessions mall of the Palm Beach International Airport.
