December 13, 2007, Jupiter, FL—Palm Beach County’s John Prince Golf Learning Center has undergone a major renovation. Located at 4754 South Congress Avenue in Lake Worth, Florida, the project consisted of removing sod at the back of the Center’s driving range and the installation of a 450 foot synthetic tee line. The project, part of a major renovation at the Center, was completed for Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation

The tee line, created with STI’s innovative EZ Tee® 56V synthetic surface, is approximately three times longer than tee lines found at most private golf clubs. Additionally, it is uniquely angled to match the arc of the existing natural grass driving range. This unique design was done specifically to allow golfers to properly align themselves to the center of the driving range.

This tee line was the perfect addition to the Center considering the drought conditions we’ve experienced this year.” She continued, “And everybody loves the product. The Center’s golf pros like it. The customers love it. Their only complaint is that they hit the ball too well.”

John Prince Golf Learning Center is a comprehensive golf learning facility featuring two covered hitting areas. Additionally, the facility offers an expansive driving range with a fairway bunker, practice putting and chipping greens and a three-hole practice loop. The Learning Center also has a pro shop with snack bar on premises.
