Synthetic Turf International Redesigns Driving Range Eastpointe Country Club Practice Facility Renovation Includes EZ Tee®

February 20, 2007, Jupiter, FL—Synthetic Turf International (“STI”), a global (“STI”), synthetic turf supplier and installer of premium synthetic putting greens and related synthetic surfaces, recently completed the installation of a synthetic driving range tee line at Eastpointe Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. 

The project represents an upgrade to the golf course’s existing driving range.  The renovation included the installation of 750 square feet of STI's EZ Tee®, an innovative, realistic synthetic turf designed specifically for driving range tee lines.  In addition to being able to hit off the surface, golfers can also hit off a regulation golf tee placed directly in the EZ Tee® surface.

The tee line layout was designed to improve the quality of practice conditions for the Club’s members and guests.  STI’s skilled designers altered the alignment of the range side flanks, angling the tee line toward the center of the range target area.

Established in 1974, Eastpointe Country Club is located at 13535 Eastpointe Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens.  Situated in a natural preserve, the challenging 18-hole course seamlessly blends lakes and rolling fairways with majestic wildlife.  The course’s classic Fazio design affords both playability and challenge for all levels of golfers.
