Stone Mountain Snow Turf was installed in October, and the Snow Mountain attraction at Stone Mountain Park is open from November through the end of February.
The turf allows the sledding hills to mimic snow where the artificial snow melts by offering a pure white surface. It is also ideal for snow sledding because the short, dense construction allows for the perfect sliding surface and durability in the high wear situation.
This project utilized approximately 30,000 square feet of our snow turf.
STI’s snow turf is ideal for areas with little to no snow. It is also perfect for use in the off seasons or early/late snow seasons that normally experience heavy snows.
